Encryption engine plug-ins
Interscope BlackBox 4.x and 3.x can host plug-ins that implement various encryption algorithms, thus giving you
the possibility to upgrade the strength and speed of encryption by installing new engines.
Usually, the bigger the key size of an engine, the safer (and probably slower) it is.

All engines available from our engine library will work with BlackBox version 3.0 or later.
Some engine will also install support for creating self-extractor archives using the new algorithm
implemented by the engine. This will only work with version 4.0 or later.

What do I have already?
Before you download an encryption engine, you should check that you do not have it already.
To see all engines installed on your computer, look in the Algorithms options page.
Click Start, then Programs, then Interscope BlackBox and then BlackBox Options.

Uninstall feature
You can install and uninstall the encryption engines, independently of Interscope BlackBox.
To remove an encryption engine from your computer, go to the Add/Remove Programs control panel applet.
