In 1997 we released on the market our first
application, Interscope DES Encoder/Decoder.
DES Encoder/Decoder was a small freeware security application, designed to help users in keeping
files safe on their systems. Later that year we opted for renaming it to Interscope BlackBox
and making it commercial software.
1998 meant not only the release of two new versions of
Interscope BlackBox, but also joining the league of development tool makers with
Interscope InstallMaster.
Targeted for application developers needing a good, fast and not ultimately, easy-to-use setup generation
tool, InstallMaster Lite is the first of a whole series of programming/distribution tools, including
Standard and Professional editions of InstallMaster.
During the year of 1998 and based on the feedback we got from users of InstallMaster, we published several
service releases (SR).
We started 1999 by announcing the first major change to BlackBox, version 2.0.
The new Interscope BlackBox is now a full security suite, with lots of
new and exciting features, most important being the ability to create self-extracting encrypted archives and
the inclusion of a desktop shredder.
We also published service releases for Interscope InstallMaster (SR).
