What is InstallMaster?

Interscope InstallMaster is a setup generation tool, which provides users with the ability to visually design and test setups to install any specific application on the Windows 95, Windows 98 and/or Windows NT 4.0 platforms. For a complete list of features click here.

We attempted to create a tool that can be used in common by professional developers and power users to package and distribute any kind of software. No learning of proprietary script laguage, manual script or .inf file editing is necessary.

Users can simply fire up InstallMaster, create a new setup project, add their files in it, toggle the settings that control what features they want in their setup and how it should operate, and then InstallMaster will build a setup kit for their app in a snap. Yes, it is that easy!

Service release 10 for Interscope InstallMaster 1.1 Lite is now out. You can download it from here.

InstallMaster editions

InstallMaster will be available in three editions: Lite, Standard and Professional. For differences between editions check out the detailed feature list.

The Lite edition is suitable for setups that do not require a very complex user interface. It can build kits for all supported media types, including self-extracting archives, has requirements checking and can access and update the registry and the Start Menu. All editions include our smart dependency checking technology and full uninstall support.

Currently, only the Lite edition is available. The other two are still under development and will be released later this year.
